Kazunori Inamasu is associate professor of Social Psychology at the University of Tokyo, Humanities and Social Sciences. He received a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from The University of Tokyo in 2013 for his study of Japanese ordinary voters cognitive frame to understand politics. His research focuses on the relationship between media and public opinion. He published papers in the Journals of Social Psychology and Political Science such as Political Communication, Japanese Journal of Social Psychology, and Japanese Electoral Studies. He has received society awards from Japanese Association of Electoral Studies (2009, 2021) and The Japanese Society of Social Psychology (2010, 2017).
